Will Old Man Emu Replacement Springs for 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee Work Better than Air Bags

Question:

I have a new 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I tow 6000 pound boat and usually use air bags on rear springs. At max of 40 lbs air pressure I still get rear sage when I’m towing boat. I see they finally make the old Man Emu rear replacement coil springs. I also have a Rockyroad 2.75 in lift on vehicle. Will the springs work at keeping vehicle level better than air bag system? Thanks.

Hey Dave, the Old Man Emu rear springs part # ARB36XV that fit your 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee will do a better job than your factory springs at reducing rear sag and are compatible with the lift kit you have now. The air bags have ability to have the amount of support changed by changing up the air pressure which offers infinite adjustability but you do have to maintain the air pressure and think about it whereas the springs are a set it and forget it type solution but it's one support with no adjustability.

Are you possibly over the towing capacity of your Jeep?
