Hey Dick, welcome back! You're getting a 2026 Lexus TX? Which model from the TX line are you getting? If it is the 550h+ you had in our fitguide there actually is a hitch available, the Curt # C26VV. This is a Class III hitch with a 2" receiver so it will be compatible with most bike racks out there.

If it is a different model, I cannot recommend a trunk bike rack unless the manufacturer says it will fit. Physically yes, something like the Saris will probably work. However, vehicle manufacturers like to make small changes from year to year which could result in a rack no longer being listed as a fit.

For example, I can fit pretty much any trunk bike rack on my Grand Cherokee L. I am able to physically attach them as intended. When the bike rack manufacturers tested their racks, they found that Jeep made a change in the material at the top of the tailgate. Because of this, it no longer held up to the stress from a bike rack, resulting in failure when the hooks ripped off.

I just got your other question so I see it is the 550h+. I attached our installer locator further down on this page. If you have the tow package connection port you can use the # C56RV for wiring. If you do not have this connection in the rear you will need # C59236 instead.

@DickC follow the link below and enter your zip. It will show you local installers. It looks like Diederich's RV Mart has done the most hitch installations for us in your area but I would shop around a little and check prices.
