Question:
We have this Thomas Payne chair in a 2016 Jayco TT we bought new. At 3 years the faux leather started cracking and peeling, looks horrible today. Is PolyHyde the same faux leather product we have now or is it a newer improved product?

Hey Marlin. I don't have any way of knowing what furniture is in your 2016 Jayco so I can't say for certain but Thomas Payne was bought by Lippert in 2016 and they were already using PolyHyde material.
The Thomas Payne Pushback RV Recliner w/ Footrest item # TP86AR is made of PolyHyde and is designed not to fade, crack or peel. The reason for that is it has a polymer coating which protects it from the type of peeling over time that can occur in RV furniture that does not have it.
What region are you storing your travel trailer in?
