Availability of Rhode Gear Replacement Control Block # RG8890083

Question:
Hi, Do you still carry RG8890083 replacement control block. I see the part number ending in 84 smaller diameter hole on your website but not 83. Though I recently bought a Hollywoood cradle and it works, OK, the old block had a little more stability. Rechecking, my original measurement was off and the pipe is actually closer to 1.125inch not 1.25inch as I first thought, hence I wanted to check if 83 was still available. Thanks!

The Rhode Gear Replacement Control Block # RG8890083 that you referenced is no longer available from Yakima (who bought out the brand several years back). No new replacement parts are being produced for those racks. We do still have some remaining stock of the cradle for the Super Shuttle, part # RG8890084. It sounds like you have found a workable solution by substituting a cradle from another manufacturer, Hollywood Racks.
