Question:

Hello, I have a Thule Hull-a-port XTR kayak rack but the roof bars on my Rivian are too wide for the clamps on the rack. Is there an adapter I can use to make this rack fit, or is there an adapter to make it work with T-Bolts? Thanks KT

Your Thule Hull-A-Port Kayak Roof Rack # TH834 can be installed into T-Slots using the Watersports Adapter # THXADAPT11.

What Rivian vehicle are you installing this on? Just out of my own curiosity.

Hi Jon, it doesn’t look like this adapter is made for the XTR version of the Hull A Port rack? Can you confirm? I am installing them on a Rivian R1S.

@KarmanT Everything that I'm seeing shows that they work together. What part of it is a concern for you? I've attached a video of one of our team members talking about and installing this adapter kit for your reference. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

@JonG The rack in the video is not the XTR version of the rack. The XTR does not have the same attachment points on the underside.

@Kt Would you be willing to send me some photos what you have? I looked up some old photos we have of the XTR model and it looked the same from what I could tell which is why I added that video.
