Question:
Hello, I have a light tower trailer that I am re-purposing as a Ham radio tower. Weight is 1650 lbs. It currently has a pintle coupler big circle. I would like to replace that with a ball coupler. Current coupler is bolted to square tubing that is 2.5 x 2.5. Two bolts at 3 apart center to center. Most of the couplers I see have a 3 channel. Presume I need a 2.5 channel? What do you recommend? Thx

Hey Mike! Since you have a 2-1/2" tongue you can use the Fulton Fas-Lok Coupler, 2" Ball, 2-1/2" Channel - 3,500 lbs # F222500301. The mounting holes are 3-1/8" apart so you may actually be able to mount it in the same place or just slightly enlarge a hole for it to fit without additional drilling.
Do you have a specific use for the ham radio tower or is it a hobby of yours?
