Can I keep the PT85NJ plugged into my SUV’s 12V outlet full-time, or should I only plug it in when I need it?

Roger, you’ll want to plug the # PT85NJ in only when you’re using it. Leaving it connected won’t damage anything, but it can slowly drain your battery over time. It’s small and self-contained, so it’s easy to just stash in a side pocket of your cargo area until you need it.
Do you also want a suggestion for a compact tire repair kit to keep right next to it? We have those too!
