Question:
Since you seem to have done some research on installing brake controllers in Audis, I'm sending this to you as my phone calls to eTrailer have gotten me nowhere. I have a 2019 Audi Q5 with the factory tow package. Apparently it has a plug up under the dash below the steering wheel to plug in a trailer brake controller. I would like to use the Tekonsha Prodigy P3. Your site shows many options for this with different prices by as much as $50 but they all show only the half of the plug to plug connecting harness with bare wires on the other end. One, the 90195 comes up for my car but it is totally not clear if it has the proper harness to connect to my 2019 Q5. And if all these myriad of P3 models shown on your web site only come with half a wiring harness, why are some more than others. So THE QUESTION IS: DO YOU OFFER A PLUG TO PLUG WIRING HARNESS TO CONNECT A TEKONSHA PRODIGY P3 WITH A 2019 AUDI Q5? Some say that the Curt harness for the Audi fits the back of the Tekonsha and I have also read that Tekonsha makes its own harness 3072P, which I do not find on your site. I am hoping that either you or someone else on your team actually knows the solution and can give me conclusive advice. Thank you.

Hey Rob, sorry for all of the confusion! We can definitely help but the main issue we have is that Tekonsha doesn't have the install harness for your 2019 Audi Q5 available to us which is why we don't have a package with the P3 part # 90195 to fit your vehicle.
So what you would want is the P3 like you mentioned and the Curt harness part # C51522. You would need to cut off the connector and then hardwire to the half harness you noticed the P3 comes with. Have you used the P3 before?

I'd rather not cobble up a bunch of mismatched parts if I don't have to. So from your reply, I gather that the Curt and Tekonsha plugs on the back of the brake controllers are not the same. Is that correct? And when you say, T"ekonsha doesn't have the install harness for your Audi Q5 available to us", do youi know if it exists at all? I have read that Tekonsha did or does make a plug to plug wiring harness to connect any Tekonsha brake controller to a 2019 Audi Q5, that being part number 3072P or sometimes 307200. Do you know anything about that part other than that eTrailer does not carry it? My preferred option would be to buy the trailer brake controller from you and the plug in connecter wherever I can find it if in fact such a thing exists. I'd appreciate your knowledge on that subject. Thanks and best regards, Rob
