Great question and I can definitely help out, Stephen!

One of my personal favorites is the Tekonsha P3, part # TK99UR. If you want to read more and know the why, I'll tell ya! It has a full digital screen with real words! No error codes at all here. That means you don't have to rifle thru a box or the glove compartment for the instructions. Or resort to searching online to crack the code. You can also mount it at any angle, well, as long as it is aligned in the direction of travel. So in theory you could mount it upside down. The corporate answer would be, so you can mount the controller no matter how angled your dash is.

Another great feature is that you can save a few different set ups. So if you are towing with an empty trailer vs a loaded one, you can select what towing profile you want and not have to mess with any adjustments.

Lastly, for install, this part number also comes with a custom plug-n-play harness. I'd say the hardest part would be locating the plug that's usually hidden under the dash, but It may be easy to find in your case. I've linked an install video for you and around the 16:40 mark, you can see where we found it on the 2020 E-450 we installed it on. Yours may not be the same but, the video should still help you on your install journey!
