Question:
Looking to add a low profile air conditioner to my 29 RE cedar Creek fifth wheel it has a 15,000 BTU air conditioner over the living room, and it won’t keep up in 90 degree weather.

Hey Steve, we have the Furrion Chill HE Low Profile part # FR46AD that would work great but if you are in a hotter climate the best option would be the Furrion Chill Cube part # FR69TD as this is our coldest blowing unit available which also happens to be the quietest and lowest drawing. It's only about 4 inches taller than the low profile unit as well.
Normally for RV AC units we say the best you can get is about 20 degrees cooler than outside air but with the Cube it is about as effective as a home HVAC unit and will keep it basically as cool as you could possibly want regardless of how hot it is. It is what I would recommend the strongest.

Hey Steve, did you decide to go with the Furrion Chill Cube for your fifth wheel? I'm curious to know how it performed in the heat, as it could really help others looking to upgrade their RV air conditioning.
