Hey Herb, thanks for reaching out!

The Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY72SB measures 12-7/8" from the front row of bolt holes to the center of the king pin, or in this instance the gooseneck hitch ball (see attached).

How does this compare to your current Rhino pin box?

Hey Herb, did you get a chance to compare the Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box with your current Rhion pin box? I'm asking because your experience could help others looking to make a similar switch.

@JonG I was comparing the length of the center line hoping that the distance will set the trailer further back for the turn radius. But the turn radius is the same. So there for, that would not work for this application.

@HerbF Ah, I see. Generally, replacement pin boxes will need to have the same dimensions to ensure the pressure from the trailer chassis is the same as the OEM pin box.
