Will Furrion Chill HE RV AC Unit be Good Choice to Replace Dometic Quick Cool

Question:

Hi, would the 15k btu Furrion be a suitable placement for a ducted 2004 Keystone Montana 2880 RL? I imagine all controls would need to be replaced as well. Original unit is Dometic Quick Cool. Thank you in advance, we’re looking to replace this asap and haven’t been able to confirm a sure fit elsewhere online.

Hey Nicole, yes the Furrion Chill HE part # FR92PR would be a great option to replace your Dometic Quick Cool. Everything would need to get replaced but this kit uses a manual air distribution box so all of it's controls would be up on the unit. Is that what you were looking for or were you wanting something with a wall remote?

Thanks Jameson! I actually bought a Furion complete AC unity from etrailer yesterday after continuing this conversation with Laura. #FR92PR was out of stock so I ordered #FR45TD -as we need to replace it ASAP. Very appreciative of the helpfulness and customer service I have experienced with etrailer - it's the best we've received after talking with a number of specialists. Will follow up on how the install goes!
