Hey Eustacio. We've got two options to add a hitch to your 2008 RE300 rear engine bus. They are the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver with the 7" Tall Brackets item # 41990-07 or 16" Tall Brackets item # 41990-16. Which one you need is going to depend on the height of your frame in relation to the rear bumper or trim.

These receivers can be welded or bolted to a frame up to 44" wide but the cross tube has to be welded to the mounting brackets. The class V receiver is rated for up to 16,000 lbs with a 1,600lbs maximum tongue weight and has a 2" receiver.

What are you going to be using a hitch for?

I will be using the hitch to trailer a car or pull an enclosed trailer with tooling.

@Eustacio Well then you're also going to need a wiring harness. I recommend the Hopkins Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # HM48035. The white wire will need to be grounded to the chassis, the brown wire will be spliced into the tail lights, the yellow wire will need to be spliced into the left turn/brake lights and the green wire is for the right turn/brake lights. This will give you a 4-way connector. I also recommend using the quick splice wire connector like item # SWC501746-1 to make these connections.
