Question:
I would like to install one of your 15gallon water tanks above the wheel well in my pick up to use a a gray tank. What fittings should i use. I would like to connect a standard garden water hose to fill and drain. Has this been done before? Are there any photos as a previous example.

Hey Andrew, thanks for reaching out!
You can definitely use the 15 Gallon Valterra RV Water Tank # R8030 in the bed of your truck, although that's not the typical application.
What I recommend doing is using the Fill Kit # RK908 to help you get your inlet and outlet setup - you'll just need to pick up the hoses and some hose clamps to get everything connected.
We haven't had anyone do this sort of thing before (that we know of) so we don't have any pictures for you to follow. The biggest thing will be finding a way to secure the tank into the bed of your truck.

Hey Andrew, How did the installation of the 15-gallon water tank in your truck go? Were you able to secure it and get the Fill Kit working with your garden hose? I'm asking because your experience might help others looking to do something similar.
