Is There A Way To Install The Friction Sway Control Arm Without Drilling Into The Frame?

Question:
hello. Im needing to purchase sway control for a 2022 Gulfstream Amerilite Camper. Id like to go with the Curt or Reese friction sway control arm. However, I know with those options you are required to drill into the frame to mount the face plate. Is there any other way to attached this friction sway control other than drilling into the frame? Thank you!

Hey Thomas,
The alternate installation option for those friction sway control arms is going to be a weld on installation. It would either need to be drilled into the frame and bolted on or welded. If you do not want to drill into your trailer frame I recommend going with a different option for sway control like a weight distribution hitch.
What model is your 2022 Gulfstream camper? I can take a look and see what alternate option is best for your trailer.
