Is There A Hitch And Bike Rack Option For A 2019 Elantra GT Sport With Dual Exhaust?

My son has a 2019 elantra GT with sport package and dual exhaust. Im thinking of getting him a tow hitch and bike rack for his birthday. What hitch will fit his car?

Hey Robert,
Unfortunately there is not a hitch available for his 2019 Elentra GT with a dual exhaust. The Dual exhaust is in the way of where the hitch would need to install on the vehicle. There are some other options for ways to carry bikes on that vehicle.
One option you could go with is a trunk mount bike rack like # Y02637 which would use the trunk to install instead of a hitch. It will let him be able to carry 2 bikes at 30lbs per bike. I attached a video below for you to get a better idea of what that rack is like.
Another option would be a roof rack with a bike carrier on top. If you want to let me know if your son has a panoramic glass roof or not, I can get some parts together for that and send them your way.
Let me know what type of roof he has on his vehicle, and what you think of those alternate options.
