Question:
I am wanting an electric brake controller for a 2018 International LT625. I noticed in a previous answer that you recommend the air actuated Hayes Brake Controller HA100400C, but I do not see that for sale you your site. Is this still your recommendation or will one of the inertia type controllers work?

Both will work Jim. We don't carry the Hayes Brake Controller HA100400C anymore. You can install any proportional/inertia type brake controller so long as you have a stop light circuit that's 12 volts on your semi. This will be a wire coming off of your brake pedal that only carries voltage when you press the pedal.
I recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller item # 90885. This is one of our best selling brake controllers because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the force of braking your semi is using to stop or slow and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
The white wire from the P2 item # 90885 will go to a 12 volt ground, the black wire to a 30 amp circuit breaker like item # PK54530 connected to a 12 volt power source, the blue wire to your trailer connector for the electric brakes, and the red wire will go to the stop light circuit.
What kind of trailer connector do you have?

Hey Jim, did you have a chance to check your trailer connector type for installing the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller? If you're still looking for a solution, I'm happy to help!
