Hi Chris; we no longer recommend mixing and matching components when replacing your AC. There have been too many compatibility issues, even with the wiring adapter, which result in the system not working correctly. The Furrion Chill HE Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Coleman Setup # FR42PV will technically be able to plug into your current setup. However, we can't guarantee it will be as easy as plug it in and it works.

It is also worth mentioning that AC units are all moving to the new R32 refrigerant to meet the 2025 EPA regulations making it a good time to upgrade to a new unit. The old R410A units already have parts phasing out so you can potentially save yourself some trouble down the road by upgrading now. Based on this I do recommend switching to the Furrion Chill Cube. Not only is this an R32 AC, it is the most impressive AC we have seen.

The Chill Cube is incredibly quiet, efficient, and offers the best cooling power available right now. Most of this is achieved through the systems variable speed compressor.
