Can Advent Air AC Unit Replace Dometic Blizzard

Question:
I have a Dometic Blizzard NXT single zone, no heat pump. There is no vents/panel in the inside. It is ducted only. Will this unit replace it? I suppose it bolts on the roof side since you cannot see the AC from the inside of the RV. It just has two returns ducts next to each side of the walls inside the RV.

Hey Mitch, there is an Advent Air Low Profile AC unit kit that will work great in place of your Dometic Blizzard NXT with the part # ADV82SR. This kit comes with the lower vent you'd need as well for your ducted setup.
I'd be willing to bed that if you removed your current AC there is a lower vent assembly that dumps into the ducts you found but you might still pull yours off and see what's underneat. These aren't designed to work without any lower vent assembly.
The part number you mentioned does not come with the lower vent assembly and the Advent units are not compatible with Dometic lower vents. How'd you like the Dometic Blizzard?
