Furrion DV3100 Not Working Half The Time

Question:
2017 Furrion DV3100. We move a lot with our travel trailer. In the last two years the unit sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. I’ve checked the fuse and the voltage. Both good. Is there a buss fuse on the inside of the unit?

Hey Dean,
The first thing I recommend is usually checking that the stereo has power running to it and that the fuse in the back of the unit is good. Typically you want to pull it out and make sure there is no damage to it. It sounds like you have done that so I recommend checking for any loose connections with your wiring.
If all of that checks out, the next step you will want to take a look at your ground and see if it is corroded or loose. This is a more common issue with something working sometimes and not other times. I have attached a manual from Furrion below, you will find troubleshooting on page 3 if you are having a more specific issue.
If none of these steps eliminate your issue you may have a shorted circuit board and the unit will need to be replaced.
