2020 lexus rx350, I attached the hitch and connected the harness. Since the trailer I need to tow weighs 2000 pounds, I plan to buy and install a brake controller. 1.Could you possibly tell me the location of the brake controller harness? 2. Please tell me the brake controller and harness that are suitable for my vehicle. Thank you.

Hey Jay, thanks for reaching out!
I have 2 different brake controller recommendations for your 2020 Lexus RX 350, and it all depends on what style of controller you'd like.
The brake controller I really like for your RX 350 is the Curt Echo In-Line Bluetooth Brake Controller # C79DR because it installs in-line with the 7-Way at the back of your vehicle and you make adjustments via the app on your phone. Once the settings are in place, the controller remembers the settings and applies them even if your phone is turned off.
For more of a standard option, I recommend the Tekonsha Voyager iD Brake Controller # TK26BR. The main unit of this controller installs up under your dash and the only part that's visible is the small control knob - which means you maintain the sleek interior of your Lexus.
I didn't see any kind of connector and installs in a factory plug on your RX 350 so you'll either have a bundle of wires up under your dash, or you'll need to use a circuit tester # PTW2992 to locate the correct functions and install the Tekonsha version accordingly. This is partly why the Curt Echo In-Line is my recommendation - all you need are the basic trailer light functions and the 12V power pin active for this to work!
Let me know what you think of the controllers!
