What AC with Heat Pump will Replace My Domectic Ducted AC with SKU 91008684415?

Question:
I am looking to replace my 13 year old Dometic 15K AC with Heat Pump Ducted SKU 91008684415. I am open to going back with Dometic but also want to look at other options. If I go with something else it needs to be compatible with the Dometic 2 AC Thermostat as I dont want to lose the ability to control both ACs from one thermostat. Recommendations?

Hello Dave,
Since your current A/C has a heat pump, your best option is to stay with Dometic, as most other brands do not offer heat pumps. While some models allow you to add a heat strip, those don't provide nearly the same heating performance as a true heat pump.
That said, the key factor here is which thermostat you have. If you're using the Dometic CCC II Multi-Zone Thermostat – White # DMC23ZR, then you’ll be fully compatible with the new Dometic Penguin II High Capacity AC with Heat Pump – 15,000 BTU, Black # DMC48ZR.
To confirm compatibility and make sure you get the right setup, could you please let me know what thermostat you currently have? If you're unsure, feel free to send any model numbers or markings from the thermostat, I’ll cross-reference them for you.
Look forward to hearing back from you.
