This looks like what I need, but cant tell for sure. I need surface mount lights to replace the lights on an old dump bed. The holes in the bed are 3.5inch and the lights that were in it before where surface mounted with a flange like this. I am looking for a light that is surface mounted and that will fit into a 3.5inch hole. I cant seem to find the dimension of the section of the light that will be recessed when installed. Would this fit in a 3.5inch hole and be surface mountable?

Hey James! We have a surface mount light that's 3-1/2". It's the Piranha LED Trailer Clearance and Side Marker Light item # PE46NR. I have attached a diagram below that will show you the dimensions of the light.
The light part that isn't recess on the LED Trailer Tail Light w/ Reflex Flange item # STL413RFHXB you were looking at is 4". We don't have one of these that's 3-1/2".
Could you pull a part number off of your current light? That would help me track down a replacement.

Hey James, were you able to find a surface mount light that fit your 3.5-inch holes on the dump bed? Once you check the part number or try the Piranha LED light, your update could make it easier for others working on similar replacements.
