Can Pro Series Trailer Jack # PS1401420303 Be Pivoted Up

Question:

Does the trailer Jack have the capability to turn the controller sideways. My reason is that the tail gate will not open fully on my GMC Denali . Am towing an enclosed travel trailer, 26’. It currently has a working Jack but the dealership where I bought it claims this Jack cannot be turned for additional clearance. Perhaps a newer one like your showing can be turned? Thanks

Hey Ronald, do you mean by turn like can the jack pivot on its mount? If so, yes the Pro Series jack part # PS1401420303 can do that like you can see in the attached picture.

Good evening, I don’t think that I made myself clear. My apologies. I am referring to a power Jack that obviously runs off the trailer battery. There are two buttons that control. I’m sure you know this. My question was about the direction the buttons are facing. Most all I have seen , point the buttons toward the back of the tow vehicle. I want to turn the controls to point 45 degrees to either side so that my tailgate will open all the way down and not hit the controls ! Is this possible?

@Ronald I see what you mean now. So yes you can rotate powered a-frame jacks like # EJ-3520-BBX about 90 degrees since the mounting holes are a perfect triangle. This would get the bulk of the jack behind the upright mast of the jack. Another option is to use a longer ball mount which adds length between the trailer and the vehicle hitch.
