Can you help me identify the correct hitch receiver for a 2012 GMC Savana Cutaway Chassis short bus? In addition to the description above an online vin decoder identifies it as a 2500. I prefer not to weld if there is a bolt-on option. Also, is the a prewiring kit for the trailer lights 7-pin?

Hey Mike, thanks for reaching out!
Since your 2012 GMC Savana has a bus body on top of the frame, a standard custom-style hitch receiver that bolts on most likely won't fit. We don't have the exact specs, but typically the body hangs down too low and the receiver won't clear it. You're more than welcome to have a local shop verify this (see linked installer locator), but I can pretty much guarantee they will opt for a weld-on universal one like the Draw-Tite # 41990-07.
As far as wiring goes, you'll need to use universal wiring as well. Since you don't have anything yet you'll need to pair the Curt 4-Way # C56496 with our Universal Upgrade Kit # ETBC7.
