Question:

Will this twist into the bumper of a 2011 Silverado? Also, even though this specs RV it is not RV-wiring, correct? I think RV wire layout happens only on the trailer side?

Hey Keith! Does the opening in your bumper look like the picture below? If so, I recommend using the Pollak Twist-in, 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector for Chevy and GMC Vehicles # PK11916. The Hopkins will work but, this is going to be a better quality connector and likely the same as the OEM part. All of the vehicle 7-way connectors follow the same standard so it will be identical to what you already had on the truck. This will work with pretty much any trailer unless you're getting into agricultural or homemade wiring harnesses.
