I have a Parallax converter / charger model 7445 45amp 775 watt. Can you tell me what would work best as a replacement? I have acid lead batteries for both the coach and start battery. I would like the charger to have the smart technoligy so it will reduce to a trickle charge after they are fully charged. Thanks in advance

Hello Sam,
Great question. The best replacement for your Parallax 7445 is going to be the Progressive Dynamics 9200 Inteli-Power Converter - 12V - 45A # PD9245C. It has the smart technology so it will automatically switch it over to storage mode (trickle mode) when the battery is charged. The # PD9245C has the same amperage, allowing you to reuse the existing wiring between the converter and the battery bank. You can pair it with the Progressive Dynamics Converter Status Remote Pendant # PD92201 so you can easily see the monitor what stage it is in.
