Question:
Can you confirm that the 75122 will fit my standard chassis as opposed to extended chassis with spare tire mounted in stock position?

TheDraw-Tite Max-Frame Class III Trailer Hitch, item # 75122, will fit the standard chassis Chevrolet Astro as well as the extended Chassis. I spoke with my contact at Hidden Hitch and on the 2000 model Astro with a standard chassis the spare tire will fit under the vehicle with the hitch installed.
Only on older vans from 1985 to 1994 was there an issue where the spare tire would not fit in the factory location. All this is predicated on the assumption that the spare tire on your van is no larger than the original tires installed on the vehicle.
