Single Axle Brake Line Kit Needed for Triple Axle Trailer to Make a Triple Axle Disc Brake Kit

Updated 06/06/2014 | Published 06/05/2014

Question:

Im ready to order all necessary EOH disc brake conversion hardware for triple axle trailer. It was recommended previous questions to etrailer experts that I start with TANDEM kit T4843800 and add additional parts to create a triple axle kit VS building a kit completely from scratch, starting with T4864000 triple axle brake line kit. In researching the parts lists I found an IMPORTANT DIFFERENCE! The triple kit uses a 19 inch main line from actuator that is 1/4inch diameter T4868600 whereas all other kits are 3/16inch T4336000 throughout...maybe due to the extra amount of brake fluid needed for 6 calipers? Is there any way I can get this larger line without the added a la carte expense $ of building my kit from scratch? ...like a substitution or price break? Thanks!

You wouldn't need a triple axle brake line kit, # HS496-253, because the Titan Disc Brake Kit # T4843800 already comes with 2/3 of what you need. So you would need a single axle kit # DM5424 or # DM5425.
