Question:
What are the benefits of this jackrabbit as opposed the the vinyl wrapped one that is cheaper? I mean it’s still metal underneath the vinyl correct? Thanks in advance!

Hi Brian; the Pace Edwards Full-Metal JackRabbit Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover w/ Contractor Rig Rack - Aluminum # FEF1008-CR3001 is considered the upgraded version of the cover. The aluminum panels on the Full-Metal are heavy-gauge extruded aluminum with a black powder coat finish. This is quite a bit different and tends to hold up better over time when compared to the vinyl bonded aluminum panels on the # JEF1008-CR4001. You can see the difference in the pictures below. The Full-Metal also has silicone hinges for a better seal between the panels.
