Hey Todd,

Yakima's JetStream 50" Crossbars # Y00425 have an "aero" profile to help reduce vibration, noise, and resistance for a smoother ride quality and quieter design. This crossbar, along with many others, bows up in the middle so that when weight is added that would bend the crossbar down it straightens out instead of bending down and potentially touching the vehicle roof. I've attached a picture showing the profile and bow in the middle so you can see what I'm talking about.

I see you have a 2024 RAV4 listed as your vehicle, if that's true then you'll need the following components to complete your roof rack depending on the style of your roof:

Naked Roof:
BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y28TR
BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06162 (front)
BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y56SD (rear)

Factory Raised Rails (You can put your hands between the rails and roof):
