SportRack roof rack # SR1010 will fit if your 2011 Volkswagen Golf is a 5-door hatchback (4 regular doors and 1 hatchback door). But it will not fit a 3-door hatchback (2 regular doors and 1 hatchback door).
If you have a 3-door hatch back then I recommend a similar roof rack from Rhino-Rack using the following parts:
