I have the same trailer and want to do the same upgrade. Is there a Reese option that would work as well?

Yes, there is! The Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter item # RP85FR would be the equivalent of the Gen-Y Hitch item # GY58GR. This one fits the Lippert 1621, 1716, 0719, Rhino, and Fabex PB 600 series pin boxes. If you would like me to confirm what bolt pattern your pin box has I would need to see the sticker attached to it. Feel free to email it to me directly.
You will also need the Reese Safety Chain Kit with Clevis Hooks item # RP49151. Safety chains are required by law when towing with a gooseneck hitch and none of the 5th wheel to gooseneck pin boxes include them.
