Question:

Will the 751876 fit a 2004 long bed 2 door Nissan Frontier XE? Appreciate the many detailed answers, None seem to hit this exacta. And clearance to ground. How much below the mfg step bumper does this hitch mount go? From the pictures it looks just like 3inch max.

Hey Henry,

Fitment of the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75186 depends on the cab style and this specific hitch is a fit for the King Cab, which is what your 2004 Nissan Frontier XE would have so it would be a fit. I don't have the specific measurements for how far this would sit below the bumper or from the ground but based on the installation pictures we currently have it looks like the receiver tube is going to sit directly under the bumper with most likely a 1" to 3" gap between the two like you were thinking.

If you plan on towing a trailer I recommend also picking up the Tekonsha # 118362 to transfer your light signals over to the trailer.
