I would.like.to.purchase a class 3 trailer hitch for my 2024 Toyota rav4 hybrid. However, I see in your notes that it may interfere with the auto litigate function. Do you have a definite on whether it interfers or not? I know that there are several different brands available, do they all have this disclaimer? Thankyou.

Hey Richard. When you install any hitch on your 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid you're going to lose the lift gate function around the 2" receiver. This is a common issue amongst mid-size SUV's like yours. The solution is to kick around to the left and right of the receiver and find a zone that the sensor can still see.
The etrailer item # e23ZR has been confirmed to fit your 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. It is a class III hitch, with a 2" receiver, that is custom fit, and bolts to your Toyota with included hardware.

Hey Richard, how did things go with the class 3 hitch on your RAV4 Hybrid and the liftgate sensor? Were you able to find a good spot where the sensor still works? Your update could make it easier for others with the same setup.
