Will Thule Spare Me 2 and Yakima SpareRide 2 Fit Toyota FJ Cruiser

Chris, I saw a review showing a Toyota FJ Cruiser. Does this rack fit standardly on this SUV? Do I need any extra parts? And is there a weight restriction? I am getting an Trek eBike [ not too heavy}, will this accommodate?

Hi Claire; both the Thule Spare Me 2 # TH963PRO and Yakima SpareRide 2 Bike Rack # Y02599 are confirmed to fit the 2007 - 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser as long as you don't have the spare tire mounted back up camera. They're pretty comparable aside from the fact that the Thule is 10 lbs lighter.
Both have a weight capacity of 35 lbs per bike so it will depend on the Trek eBike you have. Some of their models are under 35 lbs, if yours is a little heavy you could pull the battery to cut out extra weight. Looking at the bikes they have available you will probably need a bike adapter bar like the # HRBA-PRO to mount it on the carrier.
