I have a 2021 mustang convertible . I want to trailer a small pop up tent . Is there a trailer I can safely tow and be legal with your hitch ? How many pounds can I trailer ? Thank you

According to the online owner's manual for your 2021 Ford Mustang you can tow up to a 1,000 lb trailer, which I recommend verifying in your copy of the manual.
With that being the case, here are the parts I recommend for your setup:
- Draw-Tite Sportframe Trailer Hitch Receiver # 24928
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118487
- Mounting Brackets # 18136 and # 18144
- Ball Mount Parts # C45025 and # 19258
- Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer # Y08129 (or part # Y08129-3727 if you don't already have a tent)
Some of these parts are the only ones that fit your vehicle, while others are just the best when it comes to reliability and longevity. The EasyRider isn't the cheapest trailer, but it has a lower coupler height so it will sit more evenly going down the road, and it only weighs in at 175 lbs so it doesn't even come close to touching the weight rating of your vehicle.
