Question:

I have this hitch attached to the truck I just purchased used. No Keys! Do you sell spares, or a blank to remove the lock core? If nor, do you think a locksmith can remove this? Appreciate any help or advice. Thanks, Tim

Hi Tim; it doesn't look like there is a number stamped into the lock core to identify it for a replacement key. However, you can use the Re-Keying Kit for DTLBM and DTALBM Series Self-Locking Aluminum Ball Mounts # DTLBM02RK. This comes with everything you need to replace both lock cylinders, along with 4 keys so you will have plenty to spare.

Hey Tim, did the re-keying kit work out for replacing the lock cores on your hitch? Knowing how the swap went could help others dealing with lost keys on a used setup.
