Troubleshooting Unreliable Switch on FirePoint X Tactical Flashlight

Question:
my tactical Firepoint X flashlight has stopped being reliable because the on off push button switch must be dirty or defective. How can i fix this? Is there a way to get at the contacts?

Hi Karey; I reached out to Performance Tool and they said you can remove the end cap on the FirePoint X # PT57RR and take it apart to clean the button. Unfortunately, they don't offer any instructions on how to do this so it will be up to you to figure out how to disassemble and reassemble the tail cap for cleaning.
