Troubleshooting Running Lights Not Working After Trailer Wiring Install
Updated 08/26/2024 | Published 08/21/2024 >
Question:
Hello, I ordered Curt C56298 trailer light harness kit for my 2017 Lincoln MKX. The install went smoothly. My only problem now is that once I plugged my trailer in, the brake lights and turn signals work, but the running lights do not. Any advice? Thanks!

Hey Caleb, normally when this happens is just that a pin isn't seating fully. Try unplugging the connectors and plugging them back in and you should see all of the functions work.

Unfortunately that's not it. Doesn't seem to be a fuse either.
