Where Is The Factory Wiring Harness Plug On A 2008 Jeep Commander?

I have a 2008 jeep commander and can not find the factory plug to fit the 20135 combo adapter to, any ideas wear to look?

Hello Mitch, thanks for reaching out. The # 20135 Multi-Plug T-One Connector Assembly you mentioned is made for a 2008 Jeep Commander and will only fit vehicles with a factory 7-way connector. The factory plug should be located under the bumper on the driver side. Your Commander did come with the factory 7-way correct? If so, the plug should be there on the drivers side.
If your vehicle did not come with the factory 7-way, the factory plug will not be present. In this case you will need the Tekonsha # 118408 as well as the # ETBC7 kit to install a 7-way on your Jeep.

Hey Mitch, did you end up finding the factory plug on your Jeep Commander or go with the Tekonsha harness and ETBC7 kit instead? Knowing what worked could help others trying to add a 7-way connection to their Commander.
