Troubleshooting A Furrion Replacement Rooftop Unit That Keeps Tripping The Circuit Breaker

Question:
I replaced a domatic 15k with a furrion 15k using the domatic control box and after a while of running unexpected will trip breaker 20 Amp. Excacly not sure how long it runs 20. 30 minutes even an hour or more. If you can help me please.

Hey Mario,
Has this happened in multiple locations or at just one campsite? Did your previous unit have a heat pump? If so, did you turn the dip switch off for the heat pump? If the unit is running for a sporadic amount of time and then blows then it could be a sign that something else within the system that draws a decent amount of power is kicking on and overloading the circuit.

Hey Mario, did you get a chance to check whether the breaker tripping happens at more than one campsite or just one? Knowing that could help narrow down if it’s a power draw issue or something in the setup. Your update could make it easier for others with the same air conditioner swap.
