I have a 3” Bull bar with skid plate that was given to me it came off an f-250 would I be able to get brackets to put on it to mount to my 2017 tundra or is it a completely different set up?

I mean you could potentially make it work but it is a completely different set up. The Replacement Hardware for Westin Ultimate Bull Bars item # 32-225PK fits your 2017 Toyota Tundra and it comes with the Westin Ultimate Bull Bar with Skid Plate item # 32-2255.
The item # 32-225PK hardware will at least give you some custom fit brackets to mount to your Tundra.
