I am buying the c39j forged hitch will this pin work with that hitch. I am replacing a hitch because its getting oblong.

Hey Greg, yes the Gen-Y Iron Grip Anti-Rattle Hitch pin part # GY99FR will work with the Curt ball mount you mentioned that was designed for 2-1/2 inch hitches.
