Hi McKay,

We can get your 2020 Chevy Silverado 2500 short bed completely set up with a sliding 5th wheel hitch as well as underbed rails that are hidden so your bed is clean when you aren't using the hitch. The best option for this by far is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide because of its convenience and superb jaw system. What you need is the following:

- Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550022

- Underbed Rail and Installation Kit # DR37FR

The Autoslide is awesome because you don't have to get in and out of your Chevy to move the hitch just to make a turn; you can remain in your truck the whole time and the hitch does all the work for you. That said, the benefit of an automatic slide wouldn't be worth much if the hitch didn't also give you a really good ride, and the jaw system of the Hijacker allows for that.

Reason is, the hitch uses a single-piece jaw that encompasses the king pin, with a reinforced connection that comes from a 3/4" solid steel bar that locks into place when the jaws close. Along with the jaw system, the Hijacker has cushioned dampeners, which are sort of like sponges that soak up both noise and vibration, which is another aspect of the hitch that improves your ride.
