Question:

I have a 21 Toyota Tacoma DCSB and am looking for a ladder rack/bed bars that will fit my truck but also be compatible with my Tonnosport roll up cover. The rack would also need to be close too or match the height of the Prinsu Roof Rack that i have in the cab of the truck. The main purpose for the rack is canoe and kayak storage. Are there any that fit that criteria? It seems that most are not compatible as both the racks and covers tend to use the factory bed rails. Thanks, Alec

Hi Alec,

There is indeed a ladder rack that is compatible with the Access Tonnosport Tonneau Cover # A22050269 (5 foot bed) or # A22050279 (6 foot bed) on your 2021 Toyota Tacoma. What you can use is a rack from Adarac, with the right one depending on your bed size:

- 5 Foot Bed: Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A49ZR

- 6 Foot Bed: Adarac Aluminum Series Custom Truck Bed Ladder Rack # A79ZR

The Adarack is designed to work with Access roll-up covers like your Tonnosport, and requires drilling into the top of your bed rails to open the stake pocket inserts to install. It has square crossbars that will allow you to mount your canoe/kayaks and will be close to the height of your roof rack as well, meeting the criteria you mentioned.
