Will Thule Arcos Melt from Exhaust Heat or Not

Question:
The tailpipes on my 2022 Rav4 point straight backward. Is it recommended that I obtain point awayinch exhaust tips of some sort to prevent potential heat damage?

Hey Paul, so this is a very valid concern but you would not need to have to worry about the heat from the exhaust of your 2022 Toyota RAV4 affecting the Thule Arcos Cargo Carrier part # TH25YE. This carrier has a rise in the shank to get the carrier above the exhaust and also the carrier is far enough away from the exhaust that you wouldn't have to worry.
Basically the only time exhaust heat actually creates problems is if the vehicle has a diesel engine.
