Question:
I have a 2006 Chevy Express 3500 without factory tow package. If I use a Curt bluetooth brake controller, what adapters would I need to wire up a 7 / 4 way connection to the Express? I was mainly wondering where the blue brake controller wire hooks to on a harness also.

Hey John, so since the Curt Echo part # C51180 provides it's own brake output circuit you don't need to connect the blue wire of the 7-way adapter part # 37185 on the vehicle side. Only the black wire needs to be connected. Which we have a version of this adapter with just what you'd need with the part # ETBC7.
If you need a 4-way too you'd want the part # 118392 and you'd be set.

To tap into power for the black wire, can I tap into fuse box under the driver seat? Is this a good place or is there another preferred place? Thanks
