E-Bike Rack Recommendation for 2024 Thor Gemini 23TW

Question:

I have an Ebike...model E from the Electric Bike Company. It weighs in at 53 pounds. I need a bike rack to mount to my class C 2024 Thor Gemini 23TW motorcoach. The bike is a step through with fenders. I like the idea of having a ramp to load and unload the heavy bike. Please advise on the best bike rack for me. Thank you, Linda

Hey Linda, the e-bike rack I recommend for your e-bike that has a step thru frame and fenders is the Yakima OnRamp part # Y96FR that you referenced as this hitch is RV rated like you need for your Class C motorhome, has frame clamps that were designed for step thru frames, and it has a ramp setup that makes loading and unloading much easier.

Thank you so much for the quick response regarding the bike rack. You suggested the 1 1/4 inch hitch .... I have a 2 inch hitch receiver, but I see that it does come in that size. How far does the clamps open to connect to the bike? I have a very wide step through bar ... 4 inches thick because that is where the battery is. Can I clamp it to the seat post also?

@LindaD The 2 inch hitch version is the part # Y36FR and it's frame clamp setup can easily fit a 4 inch thick setup since it's a hybrid clamp/strap. There isn't a set max though.
