Question:
I recently purchased an older travel trailer 1985 fireball and the plug on it had 8 round pins and one in the center for a total of nine. My 2001 Ford has the normal one for today with 6 rectangle and one in the center for a total of seven. How and where do I incorporate the two extra wires from the trailer into a plug with to fit my truck?

We do carry a couple of 9-Way connectors. The one you would need to add to your 2001 Ford would be part # PK12907. The wire color code is listed on the product page, but 9-Way connectors are very uncommon now, so I could not find information as to which position the wires should connect to.
What you can do, is pull apart the trailer connector and wire the vehicle 9-Way as a mirror image so that the wires match up when the two connectors are attached.
And in case you need to replace, the trailer 9-Way connector is part # PK12906.
